Theodor MatthaesType Bell grandpiano
This beautiful restored grandpiano is Artdeco at its best! She will therefore look very nice in a home from the 20s and 30s, but also, for example, as a showpiece in a modern sleek living space will look great. An additional advantage of the special shape of the clock grandpiano is that the upper lid can be opened to 3 possible positions. This allows the granpdiano to stand in any corner of the room.
Almost everyone is familiar with the familiar shape of a grand piano. Less familiar is one like this, the so-called bell grand piano. The grand piano has a symmetrical tail. Thanks to this shape, the angle of the bass strings is a lot larger and the length of the string increases as a result. This results in more sound.
The grand piano has a modest length of 135cm, but is certainly not inferior in sound to a traditional grand piano with a length of, say, 162cm.
The grand piano has been extensively restored by us including the following:
- Mechanics restored , in very good condition
- Suspension cleaned and newly varnished
- Classic black polished.
- Keyboard (ivory) restored and input sheet renewed
- Conical front pressure sleeves fitted for ultimate touché
- Damping felt renewed
- Bass strings and steel strings renewed to the original measurements
- Tuning pegs renewed in the authentic 'blau' color
- Tuned, adjusted and intoned
Guarantee 10 years on the grand piano!
